Coaching kid basketball

Coaching kid basketball, in fact, coaching kid basketball in general, is one of the most difficult challenges a coach can approach.

A young player's lack of arm and hand strength, particularly in the less-favored arm and hand, is one of the key deficits in a kids team, a high school team, and also in the girl and womens leagues.

The problem is that, during practice and a game, all people tend to respond to catching a pass, for example, with their favored hand. Right-handers, therefore, need to develop strength in the left hands and arms, and lefties have to work on their right arms and hands.

And no matter how much a coach shouts at the player, "No, your other left!", simple human nature and reflexes cannot be overcome without more specific tools for the task

The Hoop Harnessis the first training aid that addresses this common situation in coaching kid basketball. It consists of a simple belt that is fastened around the player's waist. The favored hand is strapped to the belt, so the player has no other choice but to respond and work with the hand and arm that requires more strength.

Using the  The Hoop Harnessin a group or individual session is even easier when you harness the power of the many drills and other exercises developed for use with this new device. We even give you the 38 page manual FREE with each and every order.
